Your next business card deserves a QR code

A QR Code is a matrix code (or two-dimensional bar code) created by Japanese corporation Denso-Wave in 1994. The "QR" is an acronym for "Quick Response", as the creator intended the code to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed. Most current smart phones can read this code with their camera.

So why have a QR Code on your business card. Think of it as a typing assistant. Create a code with all of your contact information. When scanned with a smart phone, the recipient receives all of your info on their phone without typing a letter. It can include your address, phone numbers, email and website.

But don’t limit your imagination to contact info. Create a QR Code with a link to your blog. How about a QR code with a secret password allowing the recipient to enter a “special” section of your website. The possibilities are limitless.
