A funny thing happened on the way to the mill...

There seems to be a shift happening.

We have recently had numerous requests for letterhead printed on watermarked bond. This may not seem strange until you look back at orders from the past couple of years. During the recession and the subsequent recovery, companies have been printing their stationery on inexpensive bonds and offset stock. They looked acceptable but did not give that "we care about our look" impression. That trend seems to be shifting.

A letter is more often than not the first impression you have with a client. It is the original "marketing piece". Care in design and printing is essential... and so is the type of paper. Modern papers are designed to be printed on ink jet and laser printers but can still incorporate the subtle design elements such as speciality finishes and water marking. There are many different choices out there and most will include matching envelopes and card stock. Take into account the whole stationery system when making your choice.

Take care in the paper you use... your clients will notice.
